As promised, here is a picture of my girl the day after the braces were put on. She looks happy there but she really is in pain.

Aaahh, braces. I donned them through some of the most memorable years of my life. I think they are a rite of passage really, and that all kids should have them. Or glasses.

I had braces for 6yrs of my life and yes....they hurt at times. But when they finally came off, I felt like I was missing something and was self consious to smile. Weird.
Lots of orajel....it does work.
She can hide pain pretty well! I see a happy girl!
