Apologies

I've been a sucky blogger the last few weeks. I don't really have much of an excuse for the first 3 weeks but for the last week, this is why I've been absent:

It's been exactly a week since we adopted these little guys and I'm walking around in a sleep loss induced haze that is making me feel like I'm stoned, my stomach is constantly nauseous due to the puppy shit smell that has invaded my nasal membranes, and I swear if I don't end up with a nervous breakdown, the only thing good coming from this crazy ass idea of ours is that I will have lost some weight. I have little to no appetite. Hell of a way to lose weight. The house training of two puppies with a protozoa in their intestines has not been fun. I can't really blame them - they can't help it. But I just want to snap my fingers and have my puppies house broke. So, please excuse me while this never had a dog person in her life before, TRIES to adapt to owning 2, count them 2 West Highland White Terriers, Mischief & Mayhem. I will continue to be mostly absent in my posting but not reading of blogs. Please PRAY for me because I REALLY, REALLY need it. In the meantime, email me if you have any experience in house training 3 month old puppies. Please and thanks.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. It WILL get better. What did the vet say? Has Dean been helping more?

I'm sure they are a handful, but at least they are an adorable handful. Good luck!

But then you look into their puppy dogs eyes and cannot help to love them, right??? I'm gonna start having my dogs shit in the house so I can lose weight.

I wanted to thank you. Thank you for recognizing that I am in constant pain yet I still smile. Today....terrible day. Pain......unbearable.

You had me in tears because so many people forget about my suffering (to sorts) and ignore me when I say I cannot move. You.always.remember.

Thank you so much. You really know how to make me feel like I am not alone.

Hugs!

Am catching up...

Yeay for the hubby asking for a vacay day. (from you last post.)

And congrats on the newest members to your family. Awww. They are SO cute. As for potty training... Are you crate training too? Some breeds are easy to train and some aren't. But as they get older, they do start to understand that your house is their house and they don't want to poop or pee in their house....

Don't you wish they had doggie diapers tho? Hell, someone probably HAS made some.

Good luck! Hope the housetraining goes well...

You are one crazy mommy! Puppies are like having newborn babies in the house. Have you pulled all your hair out?

I have missed you quite a bit and am happy to see you back. HUGS!
