What to talk about? I guess I'll give a brief synopsis of my life.
I'm Susan, soon to be 38, married to Dean for 16 1/2 years, and working outside the home mother to Gabrielle, Gabby, who is 10. I was born, raised, and still living in Alton, IL, the most haunted river town of Illinois, according to Troy Taylor. For those who are wondering where the hell Alton is, it's across the river from St. Louis, MO. On parenting/pregnancy sites, I usually just say I'm from St. Louis to make it easier.
I'm the baby of the family of 3 children from Steven and Roberta, who've been married 42, almost 43 years. I lost my sister, Diane (45), this past July, to Adult Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. My brother, Steven, Jr. (41). I have 5 nieces, 2 nephews, and one great niece, and one great nephew.
I love to read, enjoy home improvement, cooking, and anything to do with the paranormal, shows, listen to all sorts of music (except hard core rap). I spend most of my time when I'm at work, on the internet reading blogs about infertility/pregnancy/parenting, and posting on a parenting community that let's me hang out with them even though I don't have an itty bitty to talk about. Which brings me to my longing and desire to have another child but you know what? I leave that for another day. To be continued . . .

She writes!
See, you're not boring.
I'm so sorry about your sister. So young.
Great start!
And I'm glad to see more mom writers who don't have itty-bitties. I have an 8yo who is going on 16 years old, and I like to read stories about older kids and get some idea of what to expect.
I'm sorry to hear about your sister. We just lost a neighbor to the same disease.
Anyway...welcome to Blogland!
So what are you reading now? What is Gabby up to? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!
ok....just realized you started writing! Once you get going it's not hard to keep up.....I would love to learn more about you and your family!!!
Welcome to blog land! :) It's great to "meet" you! :)
I am so sorry to hear about your sister....so tragic and sad!
Dude, I SO want to go on the Haunted House tour in Alton! Especially the house (which I think is condemned right now) that has the basement that fills with ectoplasm. How cool is that?!
